European hotel management company, Accor opened a new hotel in Singapore on Thursday 26 February, and announced that it is starting to work on another hotel to be launched in 2011 in Singapore.
The firm invested S$145 million into its latest property called ibis Singapore on Bencoolen in the Bugis area. It expects the no-frills accommodation to see positive returns within the year.
The hotel is the first international economy hotel, and offers the rate of $148 per room per night including free WiFi access.
