I have heard that many hotels are very cheap in Singapore. Try Traders Hotel as i have heard that is fairly cheap.

    Others would be:
    Miramar
    Pan Pacific

well it actually depend on what kinda of place u like.. some like fancy hotels which r cheap , some like shappy hotel which is found in red-light places.. if u like hotels, i may suggest chinatown area, right behing outram MRT station. keong saik street. there is keong saik hotel , phionex hotel , hotel 81, 1929hotel, some backpack hotels. well the first 3 hotel have no windows.. so u wont know whether is it morning or not.. hahaha but cost about $60 onwards.. as for 1929 , the rooms are very pretty , but a bit more costly .. about $160 onwards.. as for the backpack hotels is less than $60.. the streets r filled with good food , nice pubs , and a 7-11 . then in the day time, you can walk very to chinatown for shopping or just sight seeing.. MRT is just there for u to travel to other places.. it be a wonderful stay for u ..

Try the Hotel 81 chain. Reasonably clean and cheap and pretty convenient locations.
