Is the $700 spd per week? Since you don't have to pay rent you may be able to make a go of it, but Singapore is expensive and the taxes are fairly hefty. Somebody has to pay for the government camera in your apartment buildings elevator to catch people doing naughty things in the elevator (I'm not joking). Travelling expense is usually for vacation since anywhere you go you have to fly. See if travelling expense also includes the use of a car. Even though you can't drive very far in Singapore -- Indonesia won't let cars through the border -- the use of a car is usuall part of the pay package. You might want to negotiate that because cars cost more than twice than they do here. Btw, Yahoo does have an active Singapore website -- SG.YAHOO.COM. They have message boards instead of questions, but if you ask your questions at Yahoo!
