For a vacation in Singapore, pack light clothing, e.g. T-shirts, loose fitting cotton shirts, bermudas and the like. If you plan on visiting the few upmarket restaurants requiring 'smart casual', then add a dress or jeans/pants + a shirt.
Leave a lot of space for your shopping.

i cant help you with signapore, but i do live in australia, atm it is winter so i suggest jeans, jumpers, shirts, just items to keep warm, though our winters arent that cold compared to other places, depending on where you are going as well, places such as sydney are often colder then the places in the northern australia, sunnies are still a good option and if your from somewhere warmer you may even still want to go swimming (but unlikely)
